Hämeenlinna Swimming Hall, located on the shore of Vanajavesi, was originally built in 1976.
In 2017, an extensive renovation was completed, with Design Petri Ilmarinen Oy as the architect.
As part of the renovation, dressing and washing facilities were expanded, surfaces were renewed, and a new pool with a lifting base was built. It allows the depth of the pool to be adjusted according to different operating needs.
Soften acoustic panels were installed in the pool area behind the jump towers, which effectively dampen the echo of the space and create a multi-dimensional look.
Made from recycled PET bottles, the raw material of our acoustic panels, 100% polyester felt, is also ideal for a room with humidity fluctuations.
